babs?
So does she look like a Babs? You know, I never ever named a knit until Knitty. Nor did I bother to write down what I was doing but that's a whole other post. So, take a look see, it's 11pm and we don't have the sun handy for the natural lighting glamour shots but for the moment, these will do for Show & Tell. That name thing though? Tis a conspiracy I'm tellin' ya.

She makes me think of going to the beach...going swimming...water...so if Babs is a beach-goer, then a Babs she is...although something a little more spunky, and a little less practical would suit her too...or Sandy - HA! Bay? Ok, I'll leave the clever naming up to you :-). Nice bag by the way - you crafty critter.

Like, it's TOTALLY Buffy!
*smacks gum and bounces huge hair off of linebacker-esque shoulder pads*
Gourds, it pained me to type that.

I can see the beach thing. Can't think of any Beach Movie females, though.
Naming things is the hardest part. When S. & I were discussing what to name the Adirondack Pullover, we were trying to come up with outdoorsy mountain words. He said, "Poconos?" and I made an audible snort of derision. As if the Poconos conjures anything like the image I was going for.
Anyway, I'm trying to think of the places Manhattanites go for summer weekends and vacations. The Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island... snooty rich people places.
How about Lido? Or some Italian film star like Sophia? (course there's already a Sophie bag, so that's too close.) Hmm.
Sorry, I'm not much help.

Maybe something greek, like Athena or Hera... the colors and stripes remind me of the greek flag and the design is feminine, but bold/strong...
