Seria A! Seria A!
Seria A! Seria A! Ohmygourds Seria A! The local soccer team made it to the A league. First time in 40 something years. Flags they be a waving. The grand festa was right down street which made for approx 10 hours of this, just imagine it 147 times louder, was recording from g4 behind closed doors (little good they did). 10 hours. A glimpse of things to come next season, if they have a good one.
11 days and counting for the Mondiale!
I still have honking in my ears :s

Oh, brings back memories of the summer of '82 in Rome, when Italy won the World Cup. They beat Germany. That night while I was out with friends in the throng, people kept asking me, "Tedescha?" to which I quickly replied, "No!"

That reminds me of my student years in Germany, living in a "meditarranean" neighborhood, with sooo much noise for any calcio or other soccer games (Turkey, Greece...).
