Day four

It is the 4th day of the HEAT WAVE FROM HELL. Technically it is from Northern Africa, they not only send us floaty toys, they send us the scirocco winds. It is currently 38C inside (outside is scary) with a 20% humidity. My brain is drying up. Day FOUR. I don't even have enough spit left to properly curse the weather and if I don't blink frequently enough my eyes dry open! Strike that last part, sorta gross, no?

Color, texture and auto-pilot knitting was called for. I finished spinning up the last of the KoolAid dyed silk waste and thought it high time to do something with it. The stabbing myself 87 times with a sharp needle was not quite what I had in mind, but I made a rusticish pretty to send off (still needs to be filled up). I also knit in a giant evil eye so the Posta Italiane would not forget about it and a load of EZPs to boot.

Just the right size to hold WIPs of that size.

I even lined it. That is where the 87 pokes came in. (Dear, you never wear those olive colored linen pants, hope you don't mind, I borrowed a leg. Love, Me.)

I left the random holes and gaps in the fabric open. Nature of the wacky yarn.

I have three hanklettes left over, I shall make a little basket for myself, someday.

Now if you were getting this in the mail. What would you like to have it filled with?
