Talking nothing short of miracle to find Kiddo dressed, CLEAN and chipper (ok more along the lines of HYPER! HYPER!) at 6:45am. Have your coffee and let's goooooooo mmmmommmmmyyyy. An hour later we head out for The Walk to School. Only saw a handfull of other kids in backpacks heading here or there. Perhaps they didn't know school started today. Monday seems more logical no? Approaching the school we see one of Kiddo's classmates and her mom walking back out the doors. "Tomorrow! she tells me. Huh? Was the first day just for the first graders today. Sheesh.

If it were not for the other mom making the same mistake, I'd be feelin extra ditzy right now instead of just somewhat ditzy %)

Quick walk thru the market for fruits, veggies, meat blobs on sticks and a pack of balloons later we headed back to the casa as the little princess mumbled again and again (in that melodramatic way 7yos are so adept at)...Mother, you betrayed me...can we get some ice cream?

Hehe, could be worse.
