'd picked up 2 balls of mystery mix yarn (the lable had a lamb on the front and said 'made in Croatia' (or was it Latvia)on the back. I loved the colors so bought a ball or 2 different colorways, one had white in it, other purple in it, same blues/greens. An odd feel to the yarn, I'm guessing wool with acrylic. Swatched it on 5.5mms and left it. Later I was browsing for new inspirations and came across the Jester Baby Hat on About Knitting. It knit up quick and I learned how to do the Kitchner's Stitch of yes and my first I-cord experience. With the left over yarn I knit up a garter stitch scarf with alternating blocks of the colorways.

As you see below, tis rather stretchy.
