Ahh and here we have my first felted bag. I had been highly impressed about the Suki and Booga bags the vibrant colors, kickass style, but never had the want to make one for myself. Then I came across The All Around Companion and decided I must try out the felting thing before I actually attempted a pattern. Using some Missioni wool from a partially frogged sweater and some mystrey purple I cast on went to it. Mid way thru I thought I'd do a greek key motif mosaic but lost interest and figured the single st. outline wouldn't show up hence the botom row looking funky. I was highly pleased with my first attempt, so much that I fired up a French Market Bag Knitalong. Funny every new wool that I bring home has to be swatched and felted even if for a non-felted project :).
