Fiber: Recycled pair of t-shirt fabric palazzo pants that the $%^$% M**HS had dined on during the winter season. Cut into 1 inch strips on 7.5mms. Used the Hip Bag pattern. Had just enough to do a short handle, would have liked to make it a bit longer, but hey, kiddo has given it her seal of approval so I'm happy. Lining is one of the little t-shirts she had outgrown. Working with t-shirt fabric: very fast knit, the fabric has a strong/durable yet snuggly feel to it. I'd rec. sewing the ends together before knitting (boring though)or, as I did a running stitch along the inside sewing down the loose ends. Even though they had been woven in as I picked up a new piece I could already see them sliding out. I shall never toss out an old tee again!
