
Note:When dyeing with indigo, don't think just because you saw an African lady dyeing cloth and her hands were all blue from the indigo that it wouldn't be a problem if you sort of squish around the roving with ungloved hands.

aka chaos in Casa Zib. I know many of you knit to relax. I have to relax to knit. How is one expected to relax when their Kiddo, once a highly creative and energetic child is repeatedly turned into a quivering defeatist mass of tears every flippin day? Yes, Kiddo is up against The Homework Nazi.
I don't remember having 3+ hours of homework each night (with time off on Sunday for good behavior) in the FIRST GRADE.

Yesterday was Kiddo's first day back to school. She seemed to have enjoyed herself. Me? Not so much. I don't understand The Herd Thing. I don't understand the compulsion of those in the herd to douse themselves in perfumes and such just to take their child to school. I don't understand the war paint either for that matter. I'll save the return of the tight acid washed jeans and high heels for another day.]]>
